Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
Our jerseys and bib shorts are intended to be form fit, providing compressive support, maximizing performance of the fabrics, and reducing fatigue and chafing. Due to the compressive nature of the fabrics, you will be able to fit into more than one size. Please use the charts below to help determine your optimum size:

Had my first test ride with these as its been relatively warm and sunny here in Pennsylvania. We have had a spurt of cold coming through the North East and I figured there is no better time to test ride these bibs. They are super comfortable and warm, laced with fleece on the interior of the bibs. I test rode these yesterday May 8, 2020 in a steady rain and 39-42 degree Fahrenheit ride. I rode for 20 miles and my legs never got wet or cold. I cannot wait to use this bibs next winter as I rode entirely indoor this winter due too not owning a single pair of winter bibs. Love velocio and so happy with this purchase! I am 5'10 weighing in roughly at 215lbs and the XL fits wonderfully. I have a little bit shorter legs so they are just slightly long on me but not long enough for me too want to go down in size.
lost weight and went with smaller size and happy I did. this is the best piece of cycling clothing I have bought. I wear these when it is 30 degrees or colder. Pad is very comfortable.
Only worn a couple of times, but the fit and material choices are superb. I would wish for a bit more upper abdominal compression, especially for a cold weather garment. Fit is a bit small, so order up, as with most Italian-made similar items. Although more supple than the Craft STORM that it's in tandem with, it's actually warmer and sleeker. Small complaint with feeling the seams at the knees also keeps it at 4 stars for now. Otherwise a 5star item.
Like a forcefield in the cold... these things are incredible! I'm 5'10", weigh 155lbs. Size Medium is good: tight in the legs, a touch loose in the mid section, but definitely not a deal breaker. Love these things in 40 degrees and below.
Four years ago I purchased my first pair of Zero bibs and they still are my go-to for when I ride in temps below 30F. Biggest wins being great fleece lining, DWR water shedding face, and stirrups preventing ankle cuffs to ride up and let chill enter. Fast forward to my new pair of Zero tights and the latest addition of reflective paneling on the rear leg provides more sense of comfort being visible among the hydrocarbon burners of the road. For deep winter lower body coverage, I prefer to only have one piece of apparel that takes care of chill and potential moisture both in and outside of the gear. The Zero bibs tick all my boxes and that's why I returned for another pair to add to my arsenal!
