The ZERO+ Bootie the latest iteration of our winter shoe cover, utilizing an innovative and proprietary Italian-made soft-shell fabric. It has a look of neoprene, but is far warmer and lighter, all while providing exceptional wet weather protection as well. It's magic lies in the "spacer" within the fabric, which creates an air cavity that traps the warm air. The outer face along with the membrane provides wind and water protection, while the inner face keeps the feet warm. This unique "four-layer" fabric is windproof and water resistant, keeping your feet warm and dry throughout the winter months.
Fabric: 85% Polyamide / 15% Elastane + Spacer / Membrane

Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.

These booties have kept my feet warm and dry down into the mid-20s F. They also seem to breathe reasonably well -- no sweaty feet feeling. I went up one size over what the size chart recommended so they would fit my MTB shoes. (For reference, I have a pair for my road shoes and the sizing is correct, at least for me; your mileage may vary).
Can't say enough about these. They're really warm...really comfy...really awesome! Can't wait to get some more Velocio apparel.
New York winter riding is always brutal. I always get cold toes when however these overshoes hands down are the best I've used, another great product from Velocio!!
A few years ago I swore off shoe covers forever. They fit poorly, the Velcro closure system was junk and most importantly, my feet still froze. I bought winter shoes and wasn't looking back. Fast forward to 2018, my feet got too hot in winter shoes and I had to change pedals multiple times a week. I grabbed the ZERO+ booties and couldn't be happier. The fit is great (tight but stretchy and stays in place) and the zipper backs are a massive upgrade over velcro closures. Best of all they actually work! Regular shoes (tape over the sole vents) and booties keep my toes warm into the low 30s for a couple hours, add some chemical warmers and I'm happy into the teens!
I’m afraid if i leave too good a review, you’re going to double the price and then i wont be able to afford them anymore! First the fit. I wear size 45 shoes and i ordered a XL size which fits well. Secondly the functionality. Love the zipper entry at the back. No gimmicks. I wore these last week in december ‘17 for a strava challenge and they were keeping me warm enough to function in the teens. (I did wear an extra lycra bootie underneath with a toe warmer in the shoe. After 90 minutes my feet were cold in 15°. At 25° im good in these for 2.5-3 hrs. They are very well made and the cleat holes are well positioned, the back holes for the walking tab in the shoe require a little adjustment from the wearer to ensure you’re not walking on the material of the bootie. I only rode in the rain once with full fenders and bootie got wet but not drenched as on a non fendered bike. Feet were ok. Inside the bootie it was moist but not soaked. My only caution is: pay attention when you put them on and removing them so as not to snag inside material and or stitching on the shoe buckles and associated hardware. This is my second pair, a replacement for a another pair i crashed and damaged. Great bootie and great price. I highly recommend.
