Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. Its important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. Youll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86F (30C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Dont do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.

I never wore gloves in the past because I found the padding so uncomfortable, but more experienced members of my cycling club told me gloves are a must for safety to protect your palms from road rash in case of a fall. So I bought these because they have no padding, they're great! Easy to wear, even on the hottest days of the summer. I had them for about a year and they've held up. I wore them 5 days in a row on a long bike tour, no issues. Loved the bright color for visibility. Yesterday it happened - I crash my bike, slipping on wet leaves on the pavement. The gloves are shredded, but my palms are perfectly fine! Despite being thin, these gloves are tough and took the brunt of the fall and protected my hands. So I'm back on here buying another pair. I will never ride without them.
I enjoy the minimalist feel of these gloves. Perfect for what I was looking for.
Great gloves that are just a bit lighter than the signature gloves that I’ve enjoyed. My only gripe is the very large tag on the inside that needed to be cut out as well as two plastic pieces that needed to be removed that were holding the gloves together. Plastic- ughhh. A new packaging style I could do without.
Used them on a 7 hour ride...fantastic gription with the bar tape. Comfortable all day long. Fit is perfect.
I have two of pairs of these gloves and will be buying more. They come in a great selection of colors (matching Velocio’s sock colors) and are lightweight, airy, and grippy. The gloves are unpadded, with a microsuede palm that seems to me like just the right thickness and texture to provide good grip and a modicum of vibration-absorption, but if you like a cushy feel on your bars, look elsewhere (or pair these gloves with cushy bar tape). I haven’t crashed in them, but the material seems tough enough to protect your palms if they end up on the tarmac. Note that the gloves are minimal to the point of having no fasteners, so you have to pull them on and off; this can be slightly awkward at first, but I got used to it quickly. If you’re between sizes, size up, as they’ll be difficult to get into if they’re small for your hands.
