Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
Our jerseys and bib shorts are intended to be form fit, providing compressive support, maximizing performance of the fabrics, and reducing fatigue and chafing. Due to the compressive nature of the fabrics, you will be able to fit into more than one size. Please use the charts below to help determine your optimum size:
Our sizing chart represents the majority of riders we’ve worked with first hand in our clothing. If your size falls outside of the specified chart, please contact customer service for insights or take advantage of our Signature Guarantee which allows for testing and return within 30 days if your riding experience, including fit, isn’t improved.

I didn’t think I would need or want long bibs since I live in Arizona where it’s 70 in January! But these are so wonderful to have! On brisk cloudy days it is so nice having my knees covered and protected from the wind. I wear the same size in these as I do in the bib shorts and the luxe leggings. The reflective material on the back on the leg is not as stretchy, so you have to be slightly more careful putting them on (basically same steps in Velocio’s guide as first time putting on the bibs). But very happy with these! Nice compression without feeling tight. Warm without being too hot. I’ve mostly worn these when it was 40-65 degrees out.
Excellent! Customer service was great, quick to respond, and helpful. The tights fit great. I was unsure between medium and small - both seemed to fit. However, after reading the guide on compression I went with the small. I rode in them and they fit perfectly. For reference, I am 6' and 140 lbs. I also love how long they are! I would say these are true to size - it is my first velocio bibs but I seem to wear women's small bib shorts in all brands.
Excellent! Great quality, perfect padding. Good amount of compression. Ideal for the shoulder months. 5’5” - 137Lb
I wore this on my first century. The chamois was by far the best I've ridden in, no shifting, chaffing or sore bits. The sizing and fit was spot on, I'm 5'10" - 160lbs. and a large was perfect. Very pleased with the quality of this bib.
So very disappointed in these bibs! I have been wearing the Luxe bib shorts for a few years and have many of them (both old and new version). They work well for me. I bought a pair of the full length version to try out for the cool mornings of fall/spring and only got one wear out of them. I was putting them on for a second ride, pulling them on carefully as I do all of my bibs, starting at the ankle and moving up the leg and by the time I got to low calf, a giant hole ripped in the seam. It's not as though I was hulking my way into putting them on. I will say that although they fit, they seem to be a lot more snug (at least for me) than the shorts. I can wear either the XL or XXL bibs, depending on how snug I want them. Bought these in the XXL and they seem more like a large - both in the legs and overall. Very, very tight and they sit lower on the abdomen than my shorts do. I think it might be wise to consider giving more room (more fabric) in the legs of these. I'm thinking that if someone needs a larger size, they may have larger legs as well, so keeping the legs the same size as smaller sizes seems like a missed opportunity - particularly for cyclists who tend to have larger legs anyway. I suppose it's possible that my pair was mislabeled and it was a different size than marked, but these are very expensive and I just don't know if it's worthwhile to try again.
