Every now and then we like to take a moment to celebrate who we are. A collection of enthusiasts who don't just work in the bike industry, but eat, live, and breathe cycling. A hodgepodge of personalities who have come together to build something special... or at least we think so.
Velocio events coordinator Harrison Winkel embodies this spirit.

As the events coordinator, Harrison's role at Velocio isn't easily defined. He's done everything from sourcing the perfect display table at Sea Otter to organizing 30+ person group rides through the heart of San Francisco.
"Put simply, I decide and plan what events Velocio goes to in North America and what we do at those events."
In April, Harrison made the trek from his home in Bellingham to the Bay Area, over to Colorado, and then home. Coming up, he's hopping around the country from Colorado, to British Columbia, to Vermont.
Harrison came to Velocio with 13 years of cycling experience. He first cut his teeth racing cyclocross in his hometown of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. He's since become a bit more sensible and spends less time pedaling through mud and over stairs and more time on his mountain bike.
"I primarily am riding trails at home or traveling to new zones around Washington and British Columbia when I have the time... I still enjoy riding my curly bar bike though."
