Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
Our jerseys and bib shorts are intended to be form fit, providing compressive support, maximizing performance of the fabrics, and reducing fatigue and chafing. Due to the compressive nature of the fabrics, you will be able to fit into more than one size. Please use the charts below to help determine your optimum size:

Ultralight yet supportive. Super breathable.

As suggested by Velocio, it gets a lot softer and comfier after the first wash. Very nice, deep and vibrant colour. Touches of quality all around and great attention to detail. I like the edge of this S21 version where it's the same single piece of fabric as the main body of the bibs, compared to the S20 version which are a separate piece. I'm 179 cm (5'11") and 82 kg (180 lb), ordered a large and it's still a tight fit—as it is supposed to be. If I were to order one now, I would go for a medium for more compression, but the large still offers plenty.
This is more a partial review, since it's been too cold and miserable here to wear these outside; still wearing my Thermal bibs when I leave the house. But I've been wearing these for my indoor roller rides, and so far, I'm big fan. First pair of bibs the "raw cut leg finish" (no band), and they grip just fine. The material feels highly compressive, yet not restricting. When pedaling, barely notice they're there. I'm 6-ft 1.5 inches, 170-175 pounds and wear Medium in all Velocio bibs. Look forward to when I can take these out on longer rides. I do wish the Luxe line used or could find a Recycled fabric (like that used in the Foundation and Signature), one that feels as nice as the Luxe.
I'm very picky about my kit and after a ton of research I bought some bibs from Eliel and Assos. My go to are my Assos Equipe rs s9. I really like the cross strap on the back vs a full back panel, so naturally when I discovered Velocio I started looking at the Luxe bibs. I saw the previous iteration of these had incredible reviews, but when the new ones launched, I wanted to wait for a few reviews to come in before I purchased. I just received my Luxe bib shorts, and only did a trainer ride so far, but I was very, very impressed. The chamois is next level, not overly soft (which I think is good), but very comfortable. The material is great. Very supple and soft. I had concerns about the wicking/cooling aspect, but I didn't find these to be any hotter than my other bibs, to be honest. These are definitely quite compressive, YMMV. I prefer the compression, some others might not. I'd say they are on par with the Assos I own. Based on other reviews, they'll open up a bit after a few washes. Time will tell. I'm very happy with my purchase - I went with the charcoal (since I already have black bibs), and love the color. It's a beautiful soft gray, which I think goes with just about anything. The raw cut edge was a selling point for me, too. I don't like overly sticky sleeve or short grippers, and I found these to be perfect. They hold in place, but not ripping my leg hair out (yes, I do not shave my legs, nor will I). I'm also a fan of the minimal branding on these. I like looking like a typical biking d**che but I prefer to let my jerseys make the statement, not my bibs. Branding is super minimal! I'm 6'1, 185 and went with a Large. They fit perfect, sizing guide did help (though I do wear Large with every other company, so runs true to size). The waist rides a bit higher up than the Assos Equipe RS S9, which I'm a fan of, just means more material to **** my gut up. Looking forward to getting outside soon with these!
The material they use in the Luxe bib has been and still is premier stuff. Now they fit even better. Nice accommodation for your bits while still providing moderate compression elsewhere. And the insert is top notch. Where the stitching ends at the leg gripper in the new design looks a little funky. But I see no functional problems. Works well.
Really enjoying them so far
