RACE TUNED

Hailing from Dublin, Greg Callaghan stands among the best Irish racers making a lasting impact on the world stage. Besides being a multiple-time Irish National Champion, Greg notched several trips to the Enduro World Series/EDR podium over his illustrious career - two of his most memorable being his victories in Wicklow, Ireland.

Ticknock

Just above Dublin lies Ticknock, the mountain where Greg first cut his teeth. As a kid, he rode moto before transitioning to bikes, and Ticknock was his playground.

The mountain has played an outsized role in his riding career, and in turn Greg has played an outsized role in the growth of Irish riding.

This winter, he was offered the chance to cement his legacy by building the trail he always dreamed of, in the same place he first became aquatinted with two wheels.

"I've spent my whole life going up to Ticknock in the Dublin Mountains to ride bikes. It's where I learned to ride a motorbike at first and then started mountain biking, later becoming my training ground for racing Enduro all over the world."

Looking Ahead

For 2025, Greg will be riding in Velocio's newest kit as he once again takes on the Enduro World Cup.

He'll be doing what he does best — promoting mountain biking, riding extremely fast, and having the craic.
