Redesigned for 2020 with a totally updated and refined pattern and fit. Better dexterity, better bar feel and comfort in a glove that keep the warmth high and the bulk minimal. Utilizing an innovative and proprietary Italian-made soft-shell fabric. It's magic lies in the "spacer" within the fabric, which creates an air cavity that traps the warm air. The DWR treated face combined with waterproof/breathable membrane provides wind and water protection. This unique "four-layer" fabric is a light weight, low-profile solution to bulky winter gloves. Recommended for cold or wet conditions with temps above freezing.

Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.

This glove is a wonderful piece to have during the shoulder seasons as well as spring and fall. Finding your hands are cold at the beginning and end of rides? Tuck these in your jersey pocket and have them take up little space but ready for when you need them. They are more than they look as they’re superior water shedding and warmth for size allow them to be the best choice when it’s mid thirties to high fifties Fahrenheit and even when damp. At or below the freezing mark, go with the alpha and if it’s raining go with the Rain Wx. The zero+ is the all rounder.
I suffer from cold hands and feet riding in the winter. The gloves fixed the cold hands issue! Perfectly wind-proof and warm, yet I can still use my fingers and feel my shifters. The only change I’d make is to add a soft patch on the back for wiping a cold nose.
i bought this glove for the rain and cold rides, and a i bought some Bontrager neoprenes for the same price for the coldest rides. The bontrager gloves were returned because 10 minutes into my time time using them, i was having shooting pains in fingers from being so cold. Literally so numb they hurt! i went to my bag and put these on and continued the ride. Amazing difference! they keep you warmand there is a bit of stretch in them so you could use a thin liner if necessary. i wore them on a ride that started at 31* and ended at 55* 4 hours later and was still comfy, a little sweaty but good. it did take a couple days to dry out though
As with all the Velocio gloves I've tried thus far (WX, Alpha and now Zero+), one has to be riding to keep warm hands. Works on the bike, mostly, but not going to keep your hands warm on a walk if the temps drop much below 50˚ F. That said, good waterproofing, L-O-V-E the long gauntlet and no silly velcro straps, thank you! I mean, I like these gloves, but no glove does it all IMO, and I so one must have an arsenal to fulfill the task. And on the wet, wet, wet + cold days, best to leave the house with 2-3 pairs, because they all eventually wet-out. I live in the PacNW, and it RAINS here. As XL sizing goes these are on the smaller side of XL, which is better than being on the larger size. I can still fit a half-finger glove underneath when I need the extra padding on my palms.
So far good. The price is double all other gloves in this category so I hope to get at least two seasons out of them. Time will tell. The sizing chart is a bit off. It recommended a med or large. Went with a large but could have used an xl. Warmth is as described. Perfect for cold days (27-39 degrees F) on the mtb when working hard and med temps on the gravel bike (34-50 degrees F). Colder temps I use my lobster gloves.
