Women's ZERO Bib Tight

Size Guide

Updated for 2018, the ZERO Bib Tight marries riding experience with the realities of stopping in the cold. It fights back against cold and inconvenience thanks to a no-compromise design against the elements and offers a quick option for bathroom stops.

Made of two main fabrics, the ZERO uses a proprietary high stretch windproof softshell on the leading panels for unmatched protection while still providing excellent freedom of movement. The rear panels are made of ultra soft and breathable ThermoRoubaix. New features include reflective insert panels for added low-light visibility and our FlyFree design, which offers the same pee-break friendly function as our FLY design, but without the zipper. We were able to accomplish this through clever patterning and finishes to allow for the same flexibility and function in a more streamlined and simpler design. Same great function, no zipper required.

  • Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.

We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.

Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.

Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.

Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.

Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.

Women's Fit & Sizing

Velocio fit is designed for comfort and performance. Starting with a form-fit silhouette, we've developed our women's-specific patterns from the ground up to compliment a wide range of body types and riding styles. All of our apparel is tailored for on-bike fit to ensure optimal muscle support and range of motion while riding. You may find certain aspects of our garments to seem "off" while standing, yet once you start pedaling these points disappear.

Velocio bibs and shorts are made from highly compressive performance fabric for excellent support through an athletic fit. They will feel small when you first put them on and will often require washing and a few rides for them to "break in." We strongly believe in the benefits of compression - both in its performance benefits, as well as in its long-distance comfort - and we've designed all of our bibs with this in mind.

Should you want a more relaxed fit, we recommend ordering a size up. Find your fit through our sizing tables below.

Taking your measurements

Women’s Zero tights

I like the no zipper design, less to fumble with when maneuvering with gloved hands. I hate the cold, these tights keep me comfortable on those 35 degree and below days. I prefer bibs in the winter since most cycling tights fall down, these stay in place and the bib offers an extra bit of wind guard.

So far like very much

Nice to wear a bib (non waist-constricting) and at that, one bib and not several layers. Feels luxurious. Have only used in mid 30s, so not sure how it will handle 15-30. (If necessary, will wear something over it.) Love the Flyfree design.

Favorite Tights

Love these tights! I wanted warm tights with a chamois pad for fat bike races in northern Minnesota where it is often sub zero. They are sleek, compressive, and feel fantastic! The FlyFree design works great! I have long legs and they fit great! I bought XS and am 113 pounds and 5'5"

Comfort and Joy

I bought the WOMEN'S THERMAL Bibs which I highly recommend. I tried many long bibs and could not find a comfortable fit, breathable and warm material, until I found these bibs from Velocio. I live in Southern California. We have short winters, but it does get cold and windy especially in the higher elevations, so I needed something warmer for November, December and January. I am 5'3 and about 140 pounds. I'm an athletic built and like a flexible material that supports but also stretches well and this met my criteria. What I love most is the comfort and convenience of the bib. In cold weather and long rides it's inevitable the need to layer your clothing. Undressing to go to the bathroom in this bib is most convenient, you slip it down and it stretches across your bottom, making it fast and easy. Very worth your money.

Best winter cycling clothes purchase for me

The thermal bib tights have allowed me to expand my winter cycling because they keep me warm and are so comfortable. I am small with little fat so get cold easily. This kept me off my bike much of the winter. I find myself cycling twice a week most weeks.
