Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. Its important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. Youll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86F (30C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Dont do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.

Our jerseys and bib shorts are intended to be form fit, providing compressive support, maximizing the performance of the fabrics, and reducing fatigue and chafing. Please use the charts below to help determine your optimum size. If you find that you are on the upper or lower end of height and weight for a given size, the garment will have more or less compression respectively. In areas of overlap, multiple sizes will work — choose between the smaller or larger option for more or less compression.

Light, breathable, and all around a great jacket for rainy or cold weather. Love the added zipper on the side to easily get the jacket off and on – the overall fit is great... Room for layers, but not too roomy. :) Can't wait to try this for backcountry skiing too!

I love this jacket more than I thought I would. The red color is beautiful and the material is incredibly light weight. The zippers make putting it on and taking it off really easy for an anorak style. I was a little hesitate about an anorak, but I actually love having one less zipper in the lower half of the coat, especially when I'm fully layered for a cold fat bike ride. The length in the back is really nice for wet rides too. While this was a very expensive piece, I have no doubt I will use it for all kinds of riding year round as well as hiking and back country Nordic skiing. My only suggestion for improvement would be allowing for a bit more room in the chest on this piece as with other Velocio jackets and vests. I'm 5'6" and 165lbs for reference.

I really this fit and color of this jacket, the weight is perfect for a fall ride or early spring ride. If you get hot like me then you can pair it with a long sleeve jersey in winter and be fine. I have wide shoulders so it's a bit tight there but true to size otherwise. I'm 5'6 135

Just took this jacket for a 5-day bikepacking trip and it was one of my favorite items! I was able to wear this all day and it is truly, fully waterproof and super breathable, I never felt clammy or gross. I love the large hood, and the big front pocket, which kept my gloves dry when I needed to take them off. This jacket did a killer job at protecting me from rain and mud, and was super comfortable and breathable, even when I was getting super sweaty on tough climbs. Highly recommend!
