Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
The LUXE Bra is a light support compression sports bra designed for low impact. For best results, start with your rib cage measurement and fine tune size based on bust measurement and fit preference.

Lightweight and comfortable while still providing great support! And I really love the perforated holes in the center-front. So far, I have used it for riding my bike, running, and yoga, and it has performed great. I wear a size small for tops and 34A on other bras.
I'm incredibly happy with this bra. The material and construction are super high quality, as is always the case with Velocio. It feels quite luxe, as the name would suggest, but also functions extremely well. As someone who sweats quite a bit (especially on the trainer), I was really impressed with how well this wicked and breathed (thanks to the perforations in the front). The straps are wide and comfortable in much the same way as the bibs; they don't dig in or need any adjustment. I've never owned a sports bra that matched the rest of my kit so while you won't normally see it, I feel stylish as heck. I sized up - I'm normally a small in Velocio gear but went large on the bra. I'm 5'3" and ~135 pounds and my normal bra size ranges from 36B to 34C depending on the brand. I have an average size bust but am not super slender in my actual chest so I prefer not feeling like I'm squishing out the sides of sports bras. I was spot on with my decision!
General description Like all Velocio gear the material is superb, soft and is super light. The material is the same as other Velocio Luxe garments, as the name implies, but good to know this is true. There are small circular perforations (6 across and 6 down) located right over the middle of the chest area. Nice addition for heat to escape during hard workouts. The band at the base of the bra is wide and super comfortable. The inside seam of this band is not completely flat but it is very soft (see pic). I didn't find this a problem but it is a seam if the bra is super tight this might cause issue for some. Go up size and I think this will not be an issue. The straps seem to be made of the same material as the bib short straps. Soft, supportive and comfortable. The strap attaches to the bottom seam of the bra (see pic). I couldn’t feel them during any activities. Will this work for you? That depends - I have found Velocio gear to be lovely but their sizing runs small. Usually a full size smaller than most other brands (except Castelli) I'm 5' 10", 172lbs (+/- 3 lbs on how much training I'm doing) I'm a 38DD in bra sizes That usually means an XL sports bra size - this has been true for years across brands such as Under Armor, Nike, the Fiona bra (Brooks but was made by Champion beforehand I think) I ordered an XXL Velocio Luxe bra knowing how small Velocio gear usually runs and I found this to be true for this bra as well. Having said that the XXL DOES fit very well, the girls don't overhang on the sides or over the top. The band at the base of the bra provides just enough support. The Luxe material is stretchy but also somewhat supportive. This bra is definitely a cycling bra for us larger busted ladies, but its only for low to possibly medium impact activities. Don't expect this to be a high impact activity bra. Velocio are clear about this in their description. But it IS great as a cycling bra that performs very well. I've tested this on medium to hard indoor cycling workouts and its super comfortable, soft and wicks well. I’ve also used it during Yoga, mobility and strength workouts Excellent for all of those activities. You don’t realize it’s there and I found it keeps me cooler than other low impact bras and its amazingly light yet supportive. That alone is wonderful. For those of us who have been mummified in our sports bras you will appreciate this aspect. The only downside, the dreaded uniboob! But I'm good with that, this garment isn’t a fashion statement it’s a practical piece of cycling kit and it does that very well. The girls are happy and so am I. Good job Velocio.
Absolutely blown away by this piece! The luxe fabric has a very soft and lovely feel. The bra is supportive but not restrictive, making it perfect for low-impact exercise on the bike. The shoulder straps seem to lessen the pull on the shoulders is often present with high-impact sports bras (especially under bib straps). I absolutely love the laser cut venting at the center of the chest, both for the functionality and the style points. I think that it's a bit of a game-changer for everyday cycling comfort and will be purchasing several more to fill out my closet! (For sizing: I typically wear a size small sports bra / size 32 to 34A regular bra, and have been really happy with the sizing and compression level of the size small Velocio bra)
To be honest, I hadn't previously considered what I'd want out of a riding bra vs a running bra. Once I got this in my hands, I immediately loved the laser cut vent holes and the compressive but not overly tight fit. The fabric feels great, the combination of fabric and sizing feels really comfortable but not overly 'squeezed', and I love that I don't get super hot wearing this bra. It's just what I needed for riding and nothing more. I found the sizing in-line with what I expect from sports bras. I am a 34B and both the small and medium sizes fit me but I preferred the medium.
