Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
With our complete range of FLY products, from summer weight bib shorts to mid-winter bib tights, we've got you covered no matter the weather. You can also pair any bib short with our Knee and Leg warmer options to extend their range.
Designed as our all-day bib short created from the softest, most luxurious fabric we could source. Minimal seams and high density knit compression fabric provide unmatched comfort and support for long days in the saddle.
Our go-to bib short for any ride. The Signature strikes the perfect balance of compression/support and breathability to be the most versatile bib short we make. Excels at any duration of ride through the broadest temperature range.
Feather-weight and incredibly breathable, the Ultralight is designed for the hottest days. Made from coldblack treated Schoeller ultralight lycra, and our lightest (yet super supportive) chamois, making them roughly 25% lighter than the Signature.
Perfect for the cold weather months - fleece lined, with wind blocking panels and water repellent treatment. Pair with Winter Leg Warmers for even more versatility.
Velocio fit is designed for comfort and performance. Starting with a form-fit silhouette, we've developed our women's-specific patterns from the ground up to compliment a wide range of body types and riding styles. All of our apparel is tailored for on-bike fit to ensure optimal muscle support and range of motion while riding. You may find certain aspects of our garments to seem "off" while standing, yet once you start pedaling these points disappear.
Velocio bibs and shorts are made from highly compressive performance fabric for excellent support through an athletic fit. They will feel small when you first put them on and will often require washing and a few rides for them to "break in." We strongly believe in the benefits of compression - both in its performance benefits, as well as in its long-distance comfort - and we've designed all of our bibs with this in mind.
Should you want a more relaxed fit, we recommend ordering a size up. Find your fit through our sizing tables below.
Chest - Start by placing a measuring tape around the largest part of your chest. The tape should be flat but not too snug.
Waist - Your natural waist lies between your bottom ribs and hip bones, close to the navel. To measure, breathe deeply, relax your stomach and lie the tape measure flat around your waist, allowing for a ¼ inch of slack.
Hip - Measured around the widest point of your hips.
Model measurements - Shown wearing size S jersey / M bib short.

I love these bibs, the fabric and fit, the leg opening, everything fits and works great. I’m not sure I’ll use the zip opening, I feel like it would stretch out the straps a bunch. The best part was the chamois, comfy, padded but not too much. I also love the way the shorts look, the matte-ish fabric is modern and stylish. Price point is a little high, otherwise I’d buy a bunch more. For reference I’m 5’5”, 105 lbs and I got the small, fits great.
The fabric on these is so soft and compressive, they’re very flattering and feel amazing on the bike. The chamois is perfectly placed and the top mesh panel keeps everything smooth and flat under my jersey. The length is a little longer than my signature bibs, which I prefer. Overall, my favorite bibs right now!
I love this item! It is beyond comfortable you don't even feel like you are in a saddle at all!!! I highly recommend it!
I highly recommend Velocio for the quality of materials and workmanship of all their cycling products. I purchased all three different women’s bibs and I gave the Luxe Bibs a 4 star because I found the material to be restricting for me and less comfortable than the Fly bibs and the ultra light bib. I ended returning the Luxe. Also, not sure why the Luxe are more expensive than the other bibs.
I bought these bibs after a friend recommended them. I needed bibs with easier access for long races so I did not have to take the time to undress to use the restroom and lose time. The rear zip and bib design is top notch. Furthermore, I did not expect to love the bibs so much but they are my new fav’s because the chamois is good balance of not too bulky but very supportive. Lastly, the feel of the fabric is great. The quality and fit and functionality make the price well worth it. My go to bibs.
