The RECON Micromodal is a new take on the performance summer weight jersey. T-shirt soft, yet highly technical with the same refined fit found on our other short sleeve jerseys. Modal, which is derived from beech trees provides excellent moisture wicking and is cool to the touch, while a carbon thread knit into the fabric adds anti-microbial properties. No zipper and a nod to soccer jersey styling give a unique and casual look. It's a top geared for your next gravel adventure or coffee shop ride.
Composition: 86% Modal / 12% Elastane / 2% Carbon
Made in: Italy
Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
All styles are intended to be form-fitting, across the entire size range. Find a flexible tape measure and take your own body measurements.
Chest - Start by placing a measuring tape around the largest part of your chest. The tape should be flat but not too snug.
Waist - Your natural waist lies between your bottom ribs and hip bones, close to the navel. To measure, breathe deeply, relax your stomach and lie the tape measure flat around your waist, allowing for a ¼ inch of slack.
Hip - Measured around the widest point of your hips.
Model measurements - Shown wearing size M jersey / M bib short.

I received this jersey just in time for The Ranger, a gravel race here in Vermont. Not only is this race almost entirely uphill, but it just happened to occur on one of the hottest days so far this year. Slipping into this jersey was one of the most comfortable and satisfying experiences with bike clothing I've had. The jersey fits so well, that it feels like you're not wearing anything; but still have pockets. The sleeves cover most of my upper arm (in a small, at 6' 150#) and the hem comes down just below my hip. Snug enough to not flap in the wind, but stretchy enough for any movement I made. The fabric breathes so well, I felt like I didn't sweat a drop in all of the 5000' of climbing. This will certainly be a go-to for any bikepacking trips, and my daily commutes. 100% the best bike jersey I've ever purchased.
A nice alternative to a traditional cycling jersey. Wicks sweat / moisture well but fabric stays wet. Not my choice for really hot days but quite comfortable otherwise.
It’s just really soft & supple. It doesn’t have a plastic-like feel of other technical fabrics. The crazy thing is even in high humidity, I stopped to rest with tons of sweat soaked through the fabric. When I started rolling again & had the wind on me, it dried completely in just a few minutes. It was pretty crazy.
Jersey fits perfectly, the most comfortable that I have used. Breathable, stayed cool on a + 30 deg C ride. Based upon recent experience, Velocio has the best customer service. No risk to give it a try.
Are you looking for a bike jersey that doesn't feel or much less look like your traditional bike jersey? Then look no further. This Jersey is as comfortable as a t-shirt but as breathable as your traditional jersey. This is my new go to jersey.
