While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. Youll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86F (30C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Dont do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.

I am always looking for an alternative for the many plastic bottles I have collected over the years. I’m sure I found it with the BIVO water bottle. The slightly rubberized coating makes it easy to grasp with sweaty or cold fingers. It behaves just like a traditional water bottle in every other way — just tip and drink. Love it!

I got the raw finish bottle to avoid chipping issues, and wow I love this bottle. The flow rate is very fast, great for when I am out of breath and need a quick sip. The steel makes the bottle easily slide in and out of my bottle cages without getting squished at the wrong angle like with traditional bottles. No plastic taste after the initial wash, even after a couple hours in the heat, and no metallic taste even with electrolytes in the bottle. Make sure you wash it well before the first use, and after putting non-water liquid in it. If you want insulated you will need to get a different bivo, your water will not stay cold, but that has never bothered me. I will be getting more of these, its a great bottle and a good size.

I realize the products information page states non-insulated but I guess I thought the water would at least stay cold for an hour. I fill completely with ice and then add water and by the time of the first stop, the water is warm. Last night the temp was near 100 and the water was hot. I guess I will only be using this water bottle in the winter when temps are in the 30s and 40s. Very disappointing.

So, you do have to accept that the silicone coating on the outside is going to get scratched and dinged. Personally, I don't much care so long as it remains sufficiently intact to give me a decent surface to grip and prevent it from making noise in my water bottle cage. And in my opinion, the fact that it'll get scratched up is the only real downside (and a pretty minor one). It's thankfully lighter than I thought it might be--very light, in fact. And water just plain tastes better out of it--no plasticky element, no flavors picked up from the dishwasher or dish soap or past use, none of that. It just plain tastes clean. It's also *extremely* easy to drink out of. I thought it might be weird to get to used to not squeezing a water bottle, but it really wasn't; there was no "learning curve" at all. It seemed natural. And I actually have an easier time getting the last sips of water out of it than I do with a plastic bottle! So, yeah, definitely a winner. I *do* wish there was a slightly smaller one. It will fit in my rear water bottle cage on my road bike, but barely; the spigot pushes against the frame a bit, which I don't like. So for now, at least, I'm likely to stick to using it only on days when I don't need more than one bottle. But I don't count that as a flaw really. My bike's very small, and honestly, a lot of water bottles don't fit easily in my cages. Still, a slightly smaller one would be nice!
