Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
When selecting your size, start with your jersey size, then determine the length based on where you fit within the range.

I’ve worn them under a long sleeve jersey, on their own, or over a base layer. Stretchy enough to do it all! True to size.
I'm really happy I found these. I never liked using arm warmers previously - they were sort of a necessary evil during the shoulder seasons - but these are really good. They stay in place all day, including on my scrawny arms, but without the uncomfortable plastic gripper band that other warmers have. They keep my arms warm and shield pretty decently against the wind as well -- better in fact than some of my long-sleeve jerseys. I'm on the cusp between small and extra-small in Velocio's jerseys, and I opted for the small in the warmers, because they were just a bit less constricting.
Here in the Pacific NorthWest with the cooler weather, these arm warmers are fantastic. Some brands have a band at the top to keep it from falling down, but with the material used here makes it stay which is great. Also has some subtle reflective material too!
I love these arm warmers. The weight is midway between winter-weight fleece-lined warmers and summer-weight arm screens. That's exactly what I need for riding in the Bay Area, where the temps rarely fall below 40. When I wear my fleece warmers, I almost always end up taking them off for climbs. These I can keep on for hours at a time. And because they're not fleece (but rather a tight-knit fabric that's thin but surprisingly wind proof) they're much less bulky in my jersey pocket when I bring them along just for insurance. The fit is very slim, which is nice because they stay up without grippers, which in turn means you can wear them under sleeves without a bulge. But if you have thick arms, you might have to size up a couple sizes. (I wear a S in Velocio's jerseys but a M in warmers.) As with other Velocio garments, the only design flaw is the puffy glued-on logos and lettering, which tends to come loose and fall off. But overall, these are terrific.
These arm warmers are awesome! great length and they fit snug. I have issue's with finding arm warmers that fit properly since my arms are so skinny and these are awesome! They stay tight for the duration of the ride without being constricting and they are breathable so I don't overheat either.
