This year’s Unity Jersey represents the journey undertaken by those at our southern border, the dangers fraught with that path, the promise of movement and possibility and the darkness that it aims to overcome. 100% of the profits are donated to RAICES, a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides free legal services to underserved immigrant children, families and refugees.

Built from our Ultralight Jersey, this year's Unity Jersey offers up a bold design, built on performance-focused apparel.

For us, cycling has been a bellwether for what’s possible rather than limitation. Cycling is, almost without exception, where we turn when we need to define a decision, chart a path or find out community.

Our staff is small but it contains both parents of young children and immigrants. The family separations at the border this year feel painful and close. This feels like a dark time. Mostly, it feels avoidable, with the right path forward.

This year’s Unity Jersey represents the journey undertaken by those at our southern border, the dangers fraught with that path, the promise of movement and possibility and the darkness that it aims to overcome.

We’d been fans of Lisa Congdon's work long before we reached out regarding this year’s Unity Project. An illustrator, an artist and a committed road cyclist, Congdon continually shines messages of inclusivity, tolerance and love through her work. We love the elegant clarity in her design aesthetic and thought it a perfect compliment to the message we were hoping to convey through this collaboration. We feel very fortunate to have worked with Lisa in designing this jersey.

100% of the profits from this year’s Unity Project will go to The Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (or RAICES). A 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides free legal services to underserved immigrant children, families and refugees in Central and South Texas, RAICES is the largest immigration non-profit in Texas with offices in Austin, Corpus, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. The money raised will be specifically earmarked to aid in the reunification of families separated at the border.

  • Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.

We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.

Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.

Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.

Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.

Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.

Velocio fit is designed for comfort and performance. Starting with a form-fit silhouette, we've developed our women's-specific patterns from the ground up to compliment a wide range of body types and riding styles. All of our apparel is tailored for on-bike fit to ensure optimal muscle support and range of motion while riding. You may find certain aspects of our garments to seem "off" while standing, yet once you start pedaling these points disappear.

Velocio bibs and shorts are made from highly compressive performance fabric for excellent support through an athletic fit. They will feel small when you first put them on and will often require washing and a few rides for them to "break in." We strongly believe in the benefits of compression - both in its performance benefits, as well as in its long-distance comfort - and we've designed all of our bibs with this in mind.

Should you want a more relaxed fit, we recommend ordering a size up. Find your fit through our sizing tables below.

    Unfortunately Too Small

I loved the design of the jersey and the message . I especially loved the support of RAICES and bringing light to the plight of refugees under the current administration. Unfortunately the jersey was too small for me.

    Beautiful Design

This jersey is beautiful, and very thin which will be nice for summer or hot weather riding. It is bright and fun!

I love the colors and design. Very original and fun. Fit is great as I have other ultralight jerseys so I knew I would wear a small.

    Gorgeous, comfy & doing good

Race fit molds comfortably to the body and looks sharp. Even forgiving of my recent extra lbs :( I wore the jersey today riding outside of Vegas and was thinking about “unity” as I saw riders of all shapes, sizes, age and ability today. Grateful!
