The LUXE Bib Short with our Fly technology is made to make a ride from dawn until dusk more about the ride than the stops, a bothersome seam or a pinching leg band. There are fewer panels in the LUXE as a result of fabric bearing a higher lycra content. That means fewer seams and fewer touch points. The straps are the finest and most flexible we could find while still offering up the type of support needed for an all day ride. Finally, the matte finish that the LUXE bears means a softer feeling bib and that matters after long hours in the saddle. We designed the LUXE to be a true all-day performance bib short and while every ride isn't epic, that doesn't mean you won't want to reach for the LUXE anytime you set to turning the pedals.
Fabric: 80% Polyamide / 20% Elastane

Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
Velocio fit is designed for comfort and performance. Starting with a form-fit silhouette, we've developed our women's-specific patterns from the ground up to compliment a wide range of body types and riding styles. All of our apparel is tailored for on-bike fit to ensure optimal muscle support and range of motion while riding. You may find certain aspects of our garments to seem "off" while standing, yet once you start pedaling these points disappear.
Velocio bibs and shorts are made from highly compressive performance fabric for excellent support through an athletic fit. They will feel small when you first put them on and will often require washing and a few rides for them to "break in." We strongly believe in the benefits of compression - both in its performance benefits, as well as in its long-distance comfort - and we've designed all of our bibs with this in mind.
Should you want a more relaxed fit, we recommend ordering a size up. Find your fit through our sizing tables below.
Chest - Start by placing a measuring tape around the largest part of your chest. The tape should be flat but not too snug.
Waist - Your natural waist lies between your bottom ribs and hip bones, close to the navel. To measure, breathe deeply, relax your stomach and lie the tape measure flat around your waist, allowing for a ¼ inch of slack.
Hip - Measured around the widest point of your hips.
Model measurements - Shown wearing size S jersey / M bib short.

Comfortable compression on the legs, mesh front to the bib keeps you cool and the zipper in the back is friggin' genius!
Pretty much the only bibs I wear. Hands down the best.
Great. The shorts are soft to the touch. Worked well on very hot humid bike ride. Didn’t feel the need to remove them the minute I got home. Held everything together.
The second I put these on I could tell they were going to be amazing on the bike. They fit and feel like silky skin, I love how long the inseam is compared to other brands, and of course the chamois is incredible. It's the first and only chamois that actually is shaped for women and hits right under my sit bones when I'm on the saddle, love it! I have ridden in these bibs for several long rides and I've yet to be the least bit disappointed. They feel expensive and definitely are impressive, I will be buying more for sure.
Look, Velocio is expensive. We all know that. But do you know how many terrible items of cycling clothing I've bought because I'm a woman and most companies think I want to look 'cute' on my way to a coffee shop? Velocio actually makes performance clothing. And it still looks pretty nice. Yes, I wish they had more warm colors. As a classic 'fall' who needs to wear warm colors, I find Velocio's color schemes far too often on the cooler end of the spectrum. And yet I still have basically decided to only buy Velocio from now on. By investing in a few high quality items, I can have every item fully functional and ready to go. In the case of these shorts I was worried, as they are advertised as being very compresive and I really don't want sausage leg. In these bibs I do have some sausage leg, even though I am sure it's the right size. I do wish that could be avoided. But, they're 100% comfortable, even on a very long ride. They stay EXACTLY where they are supposed to, not rubbing, twisting, hiking up or whatever. The thermal bibs, on the other hand, have no sausage leg and fit equally well. Also they keep me warm. I also have a LUXE in full length. I don't like the vent behind the knee as keeping my knees warm is super important. But these LUXE bib shorts are basically perfect. It's not their fault they give me mild sausage leg. I like how they look, I like how they feel. They will be my go-to bibs this season.
