Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
When selecting your size, start with your jersey size, then determine the length based on where you fit within the range.

Use your bib short size as a starting point. Consider the circumference of your thigh when selecting the size.

I love how tall these are, I’m 5ft7in and got the sz small.... it literally covers the entire length of my leg up to my butt cheek so I don’t have to worry about it falling down EVER. I’m not a fan of tights usually so these make riding in colder temps totally tolerable especially paired with the thermal bibs which I’m also in love with!
Wasn’t sure what to expect from these been wanting something to replace the tights I’ve been wearing from another manufacturer for the past 5 years. The first ride was 2 hour 31 degree roll and these made me forget about the tights. First off these were so comfortable I never felt them and I was as warm as a pair of sweats. 5* Velocio redefining the game yet again.
Excellent mixture of warm, second skin, and the ability to combine with any of the bib short offerings. Recently at Northampton International, I opted for these leg warmers over embrocation or tights. Size is accurate and correlated with your bib size. Thank you
These babies are super comfortable yet durable - I've been mt biking with them in sub 40 degrees the last couple of weekends in mud and puddles and they've been great!
Ordered these leg warmers with the intent of using them primarily for cold, New England cycling races (where tights may not be an option). Really love the material and feel. They're definitely warm and adequate into the high 20's and 30's (with racing or intensity). Had no trouble with the leg warmers staying in place, but will say that they run long. I am 5'9" and the size small seemed on the taller side, even for me. No issues so far - absolutely love them - so would highly recommend.
