Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
Our jerseys and bib shorts are intended to be form fit, providing compressive support, maximizing performance of the fabrics, and reducing fatigue and chaffing. Due to the compressive nature of the fabrics, you will be able to fit into more than one size. Please use the charts below to help determine your optimum size.

Velocio products always leave me absolutely pleased and go beyond my expectations for quality and fit. I will gladly continue to purchase products as these knickers are versatile for NYs long spring and fall. Frankly, I may wear them into the summer as they’re light and thin. They’re more like full tights for my petite frame.
My second pair I finally wore my other pair out! I’m 5’4 125lbs I bought the size small. I live in California and I pretty much wear these for our winters when it gets “California” Cold 40’-50’ They work well without being to hot when it warms up in the afternoons. The fit on these knickers are the best and very flattering and slimming they fit like a good pair of yoga pants. The pad is the best in the industry for me anyway I can’t use any other brand bibs anymore.
I am not sure how I survived without these knickers for as long as I did. I literally text my Velocio “pusher” and why had I waited this long for these knickers. Being 5”11, I often find that knickers are not long enough in the torso or knicker length. This was not the case with these. They fit perfectly and were warm and comfortable. My only concern with the fly free is the height the knickers goes up my back. Seems a little too high to pull them down on the bike.
Very comfortable for a 3 hour + ride. At first I thought they would be too tight and although there are "seam lines" on my body for awhile after I remove them, I don't feel any seams while riding. It is true what is said, that you need to try them a few times as when I first put them on I thought they were too small. I'm normally between a M and L, so L was the right choice.
