Updated for 2019 with the latest generation of our Signature chamois and an improved fit to create a full-length winter weight tight that breathes exceptionally well and provides excellent warmth without feeling overbuilt. Supportive and compressive Thermoroubaix Power fabric throughout, the Thermal Bib Tight has a compressive feel similar to our award-winning bib shorts, with the added protection of a fleece lining and DWR treatment. A wind block panel at the front crotch for added protection from the cold makes these tights truly capable down into the mid-winter temps. A go-to for cyclocross warm up, long winter base miles, or those that can’t find warmth until well after the spring equinox.

Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
Velocio fit is designed for comfort and performance. Starting with a form-fit silhouette, we've developed our men's-specific patterns from the ground up to compliment a wide range of body types and riding styles. All of our apparel is tailored for on-bike fit to ensure optimal muscle support and range of motion while riding. You may find certain aspects of our garments to seem "off" while standing, yet once you start pedaling these points disappear.
Velocio bibs and shorts are made from highly compressive performance fabric for excellent support through an athletic fit. They will feel small when you first put them on and will often require washing and a few rides for them to "break in." We strongly believe in the benefits of compression - both in its performance benefits, as well as in its long-distance comfort - and we've designed all of our bibs with this in mind.
Our jersey fit is a slim form-fit cut designed to provide light compression and muscle support, exceptional comfort and a streamlined look. For 2019, we’ve made some adjustments to our sizing to allow for more flexibility in fit across a broader range of body types and preferences. Our larger sizes have be re-proportioned while maintaining a tailored look.
Chest - Start by placing a measuring tape around the largest part of your chest. The tape should be flat but not too snug.
Waist - Your natural waist lies between your bottom ribs and hip bones, close to the navel. To measure, breathe deeply, relax your stomach and lie the tape measure flat around your waist, allowing for a ¼ inch of slack.
Hip - Measured around the widest point of your hips.
Model measurements - Shown wearing size M.

This is a superior product for intended purpose. While I have other wool shorts, knickers, and tights, they pale in comparison to what I experienced in warmth, water repellency, compression, and fit from this Bib Tight. I started the ride at 39F with rain and snow hanging to the west looking to get out for a couple of hours. I dropped to the valley, did my usual figure eight warm up on gravel, and then realized I was about to get into it. the rain, then rain/snow mix beaded up on the tights while my top took on water. on the climb home, I was completely comfortable. I have switched to skiing in the last two days but will back in UT over the next week and looking forward to using these tights again. thank you.
I expected Thermal Bib to be quality, and it was -- in fact better than I anticipated. Great fit, solid construction, excellent quality with great cold and wind protection (never rains here so not sure about that). This is my 4th Velocio product ... and I don't think I'll be looking elsewhere again. Worth every penny.
Bought an XL (the size I wear in the Signature shorts) but needed to size up to XXL. I’m 6’, 208lbs. Really like these for the fit and pad, which has become my favorite across the brands I’ve tried.
I’ve used iterations of the Velocio Thermal Bib tights for years and every year they figure out ways to make them better. Perfectly fitting, clean design, the chamois sits right where it’s meant to. Great tights, these!
First ride stayed in the low 30s and these bib-tights were absolutely perfect. Super comfortable. I recommend them!
