Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
All styles are intended to be form-fitting, across the entire size range. Find a flexible tape measure and take your own body measurements.
Chest - Start by placing a measuring tape around the largest part of your chest. The tape should be flat but not too snug.
Waist - Your natural waist lies between your bottom ribs and hip bones, close to the navel. To measure, breathe deeply, relax your stomach and lie the tape measure flat around your waist, allowing for a ¼ inch of slack.
Hip - Measured around the widest point of your hips.
Model measurements - Shown wearing size M jersey / M bib short.

Like a forcefield in the cold... these things are incredible! I'm 5'10", weigh 155lbs. Size Medium is good: tight in the legs, a touch loose in the mid section, but definitely not a deal breaker. Love these things in 40 degrees and below.
Four years ago I purchased my first pair of Zero bibs and they still are my go-to for when I ride in temps below 30F. Biggest wins being great fleece lining, DWR water shedding face, and stirrups preventing ankle cuffs to ride up and let chill enter. Fast forward to my new pair of Zero tights and the latest addition of reflective paneling on the rear leg provides more sense of comfort being visible among the hydrocarbon burners of the road. For deep winter lower body coverage, I prefer to only have one piece of apparel that takes care of chill and potential moisture both in and outside of the gear. The Zero bibs tick all my boxes and that's why I returned for another pair to add to my arsenal!
The construction of these bibs is amazing. I am amazed at how warm they are for how "not-bulky" they are (is that a word??). Love the details on the ankle stirrups, they fit so well. You can tell they really thought about how these bibs function. In general, Velocio stuff fits pretty snug; I love the proportions, its fits great, but Im in between Medium and Large, and glad I went Large.
Warm, great fit, put them on and don’t think about it.
Bought these several weeks ago and been on lots of rides in the low 30’s. Perfectly warm and comfortable. I’m 6’2 and 210 and I purchased a large. They fit well. Maybe they are cut a little low over the abdomen. But they fit well everywhere else. Also they are super warm and they were worth the investment.
