Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. Its important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. Youll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86F (30C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Dont do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
How do your jackets fit?
Our jackets are patterned in the riding position, with a tight fit across the chest and arms with a more forward position. This is intentional to reduce flapping and extra fabric across the chest while riding. When standing, the jacket will feel tight across the chest, shoulders and torso. The arm length might appear long as well. However, the intended fit is tailored for on-the-bike positioning where the shoulders and torso no longer feel tight and the extra arm length hits the wrists in the appropriate spot. Constructed without extra fabric to flap around - it should fit tight over your jersey (with enough room for a long sleeve and base layer), but shouldn’t appear baggy. We select fabrics that have some elasticity to allow for freedom of movement even with a tailored fit to accommodate some range of fit within each size.

Great jacket. Being in central WI, ones cold weather gear needs to be very flexible, and this jacket is super warm when layered but also usable in higher temps ~45 with less layers. Super windproof. I am 6' and around 180 lbs and a Medium fit great.
This jacket is very versatile. It deal with wind and moisture very well and can be made warmer or cooler depending on base layer. It dumps heat well on climbs with a quick unzip and warms back up quickly on the descent. It is worth noting that unzipping before you get hot is a good idea. It will dry but is better if you just don’t get it soaked in the first place.
I have ridden with this a few times now. It is crazy how comfortable and warm it is. The best part about it is that I forget it is even there. Beware that this is a snug fit, I had to size up to get it to fit where I felt comfortable. Fantastic piece of gear.
I still don’t understand how something so light and flexible is suited to temps into the 20s. It’s a great item.
Thrown all sorts of bad weather at it: rain snow wind, etc. kept me very comfortable. So soft I almost don’t want to take it off. I wouldn’t mind a tad more breathability - especially in the arms. But it’s a minor knock for such a great piece.
