Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
Our jerseys and bib shorts are intended to be form fit, providing compressive support, maximizing performance of the fabrics, and reducing fatigue and chafing. Due to the compressive nature of the fabrics, you will be able to fit into more than one size. Please use the charts below to help determine your optimum size:

These tights make me want to ride my bike! I love the feel of the fabric on my skin. The tights fit so well I forget I am wearing anything. They kept me comfortably warm on a chilly day.
I have not had a chance to wear this bib tight yet but the fit is great. I hope I will love it as much as all the rest of my Velocio bibs. I am 5'9" and weigh around 142 pounds, I like the medium even though I can fit in a small
These fit true to size, not quite as compressive as their standard road bibs (a good thing - I'd never be able to get them on, as the fabric is fairly thick). I'm 5'5", 130 lbs, 31" inseam, and the small fit perfectly. Wore them this weekend for couple of hours in 19 degree (F) foggy, snowy awfulness. They were definitely warm, and while they weren't easy to pull down to ***, It was definitely better than holding it, since I wouldn't have stripped off layers! I used a very lightweight pair of rain pants over them, and it was plenty. The chamois was comfortable, the straps were completely unnoticeable.
I bought this bib in September and it wasn't really cold enough to use these the way I intended quite yet, but in October we've had a couple of colder days so I've been able to wear them. One day was in the mid-40s at the high point and I wore a lightweight longsleeve jersey. The other was in the mid-30s and I wore a wool layer and a long sleeve, medium thickness jersey on top. These worked well in both instances. I wouldn't say I was "warm" on the 35-degree day, but it was tolerable. I'm a little concerned that when it turns to actual winter weather (sub-25F) they may not be quite warm enough, but I think I prefer this to being overheated from too thick fabric. I can always wear a second layer, if needed. They are just as comfortable as my summer Velocio bibs and fit in the same size as the Luxe bibs. They are a little long for me at just under 5'4", but I expected that and it doesn't interfere, even with the stirrup at the foot (which I'll also say I do not feel at all in my shoe). I fall within the measurements given for the XXL and that is what I purchased. They're tight on my calves, but I have large legs, so this is an ongoing issue in most tights/pants. The only real down side is the cost. I'd like to get more so I don't have to constantly wash and wear, but I ride nearly every day, so I know I can't quite swing that financially. Looking forward to giving these a real test as winter sets in, but so far, so good.
