Our flagship bib designed for high performance riding, the Signature has won awards, gained a reputation for comfort and extended the expectation for performance. Fly technology adds a crucial bit of access to our Signature Bib Short to create a high performance bib with an easy-on / easy-off, mid-ride bathroom break option. No halters. No oddly-placed seams. No jersey, helmet and sunglasses removal. And the zipper from which it takes its name can't be felt while pedaling thanks to an internal flap and garage.
Fabric: 78% Polyamide / 22% Elastane

Caring for your cycling gear properly will extend its life and maintain its performance, fit and quality. It’s important to consider these instructions carefully. While we stand behind the quality of our apparel, not adhering to these instructions will void our warranty against manufacturing & defects.
We strongly recommend washing your new gear before wearing it. You’ll find that your apparel will soften, and fit & comfort will improve after washing - especially with bibs & shorts.
Machine wash cool, 86°F (30°C) with like colors: Cooler temps maintain better longevity for your apparel. Like colors, especially lights, will remain more vibrant when washed with like colors.
Use mild detergent. Do not bleach or dry clean: Strong detergents & bleach can break down the fibers and elastane in the garment, dramatically reducing its life.
Close all fastenings: this goes also for other garments mixed in with your cycling apparel. Velcro closures or clasps can catch on stitching or trim and damage your garments.
Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry: Do not put your cycling apparel in the dryer. Even on low heat. Don’t do it. Heat can damage fabric, elastic and heat transfer logos very easily. Lycra (Elastane) is used throughout our garments to provide compression and support and is susceptible to damage from heat and can irreparably damage your apparel.
Velocio fit is designed for comfort and performance. Starting with a form-fit silhouette, we've developed our women's-specific patterns from the ground up to compliment a wide range of body types and riding styles. All of our apparel is tailored for on-bike fit to ensure optimal muscle support and range of motion while riding. You may find certain aspects of our garments to seem "off" while standing, yet once you start pedaling these points disappear.
Velocio bibs and shorts are made from highly compressive performance fabric for excellent support through an athletic fit. They will feel small when you first put them on and will often require washing and a few rides for them to "break in." We strongly believe in the benefits of compression - both in its performance benefits, as well as in its long-distance comfort - and we've designed all of our bibs with this in mind.
Should you want a more relaxed fit, we recommend ordering a size up. Find your fit through our sizing tables below.
Chest - Start by placing a measuring tape around the largest part of your chest. The tape should be flat but not too snug.
Waist - Your natural waist lies between your bottom ribs and hip bones, close to the navel. To measure, breathe deeply, relax your stomach and lie the tape measure flat around your waist, allowing for a ¼ inch of slack.
Hip - Measured around the widest point of your hips.
Model measurements - Shown wearing size S jersey / M bib short.

Velocio has nailed on-bike functionality. I'm looking forward to wearing these on some big 200km rides later this fall. The new bibs were a little tighter than my 3 year old ones, but after a ride, they are perfect with great compression.
I’m 5’3, 113lb and the XS was ridiculously small (could not even pull it on over my legs). Size S was snug but was a proper compression fit. Looks sleek as **** and has fared well on 3-4hr rides. LOVE not being able to take it off to ***. Only design flaw to mention is the thick seams along the front of the thigh which leaves grooves in my skin.
I got my first pair of these a couple of years ago, and I essentially wear them until they MUST be washed -- they're the most comfortable bib shorts I have ever owned. I wear them road riding and under my mountain bike baggies. After finding these on sale again, I had to get a second pair. Some sizing tips: they do run a little small compared to other clothing companies, so I recommend sizing up. I'm 165 cm (5'5"), 52 kg (115 lbs) and a size S fits perfectly. I typically wear an XS in most other athletic brands.
It's been cold and raining so no outdoor riding on these yet however they are the best I have ever had on the bike indoors. Usually I have to stop my trainer ride not bc of fitness but bc of my shammy/bib, not with these, no excuses now ;)
These bib shorts literally changed my perception of cycling clothing. I always thought discomfort was part of the game... A few years ago I was shopping for an extra pair of bibs to take on a 3 day ride in Northern California, I was warily convinced to try the Fly Bibs by a guy at Mike's Bikes in San Rafael (thank you). I thought the zipper would be annoying (it's not) and the front chest panel hot (it's not) After the first day/100 miles, I went back to the hotel and hand washed them so I could wear them the next day, after day two/100miles I did the same; at the end of day three/100miles, I was smitten. I have not bought anything except Velocio bibs since then.
